A couple months later and things have changed drastically at work, though it's still quite pleasant there. One assistant manager was fired and replaced, and then the other assistant that I was attracted to had to transfer out due to personal issues. I gave her my number in the hopes that we could play pool sometime, but she hasn't called. Sigh. The Store Director and I get along quite well, what with our mutual love of sarcasm. So that's good, and the two new managers fit in well and seem to like working with me.

I've resolved to go back to school and get a degree in graphic design. Seems, however, that I've missed all the financial aid deadlines, so those plans will have to wait until 2010. Gives me a chance to save up, though...and to mull over whether I should stay in Kansas City, or get the hell out of here and make the big leap into a West Coast school.
